Fragment - March 24, 1933
From a meeting held the night before the long brotherhood meeting of March 25, 1933 (EA 33/100)
Eberhard Arnold: The way of perfect love alone remains while everything else passes away. Jesus says: Many things have been said, it is true, but I say to you, love your enemies. Do not gather riches. Give everything away. Be pure and faithful in love. Do not resist the evil man. Go to meet your opponents.! When asked for an hour's work, give two. For you should be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect. And go through this narrow door, that is, do to others what you would like them to do to you. Beware of the false prophets who come to you in Christian clothing but show the nature of a beast of prey. Seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness and justice and all will be well. Pray that the will of God is done on earth, that God's kingdom comes, that the lame are healed, that you receive your daily bread, that your sin is forgiven, as you forgive the sin of all. . . . Do not worry about the other life (the next day) and do not collect property, but with undivided heart and single eye look toward the one goal. Judge no one and love all. Do what these words say, or the building of your life will collapse.

Bergpredigt
Bruchstück - 24. März 1933
Dies ist eine Versammlung am Vorabend der langen Bruderschaft vom 25. März 1933, EA 33/100.
Eberhard: Der Weg der vollkommenen Liebe, die allein bleibt, während alles andere vergeht. Jesus sagt: Es ist zwar manches gesagt worden, Ich aber sage euch: Liebet eure Feinde, erwerbt keinen Reichtum! Gebt alles weg! Seid rein und treu in der Liebe! Widerstrebt dem Bösen nicht! Kommt euren Widersachern entgegen! Gebt zwei Arbeitsstunden, wenn eine von euch verlangt wird! Denn ihr sollt vollkommen sein, wie euer Vater im Himmel vollkommen ist. Und geht ein durch diese enge schmale Tür, die da heißt: Was ihr wollt, das euch die Leute tun sollen, das tut ihr ihnen! Hütet euch vor den falschen Propheten, die in christlichem Gewand kommen und eine Raubtiernatur beweisen! Trachtet nach dem Reiche Gottes und seiner Gerechtigkeit, so wird sich alles andere finden! Bittet, daß der Wille Gottes geschieht auf der Erde, daß das Reich Gottes kommt, daß Lahme geheilt werden, daß euch euer tägliches Brot gegeben wird, daß euch die Sünde vergeben wird, wie ihr allen die Sünde vergebt, [hier fehlt eine ganze Seite im Stenogramm.]
Sorgt nicht für das andere Leben (den andern Morgen), und sammelt euch kein Eigentum, sondern seid mit ungeteiltem Herzen und mit einfältigen Augen auf das eine Einzige gerichtet! Richtet niemand und liebt alle! Handelt nach diesen Worten, sonst wird euer Lebensbau zusammenstürzen.
