Eberhard: As we have just heard from German politics, we in Central Europe find ourselves in a difficult situation. This situation demands us to put aside all human conjecture, all of our own ideas, and ask God himself to intervene. It cannot continue like this, and we have to ask God to intervene with his exalted hand so that especially in the German Reich and also in all other countries, especially in Italy, but not only there, something powerful may take place that comes from God. Something decisive has to happen we all feel that. What it will be we do not know, but it has to come from God, for only what comes from God can cause a turning point. If we look at our own situation we sense that it is the same as what we experienced with Emy Ma and Edith, that through the healing hand of God something miraculous took place. We have to look to the exalted hand of God and see how it draws nearer to stand by us in our dangerous times, to protect us and give us the possibility of life and of living together, of living the witness and the task entrusted to us. We also need God to intervene anew in our communal life, especially for our economic situation not for any one specific area but for our economic possibilities in the sense of the potential of the Spirit, so that new, forceful power is given to us for everything that we are commissioned with. But since there is no sense in emphasizing the separate points, because we know them all, we want to gather for our intercession to God and once more turn to the letters in the Revelation of John.

(Das Eingreifen Gottes die einzige Hilfe in der Schwere der Weltlage)
Eberhard: Wie wir soeben aus der deutschen Politik gehört haben, befinden wir uns in einer schweren Lage in Mitteleuropa. Diese Lage gebietet uns, alle menschlichen Vermutungen, alle Gedankengebilde zur Seite zu stellen und Gott selbst zu bitten, dass Er eingreifen soll. Es kann ja so nicht weiter gehen, und wir müssen Gott bitten, dass Er mit Seiner aufgehobenen Hand eingreift, dass gerade im deutschen Reich und auch in allen anderen Ländern, gerade auch in Italien und nicht nur dort etwas Gewaltiges geschehe, was von Gott aus kommt. Es muss etwas ganz starkes geschehen, das fühlen wir alle. Wie das sein wird, wissen wir nicht, aber es muss von Gott sein, weil allein das eine Wendung bringen kann, was von Gott kommt. Und auch wenn wir unsere eigene Situation ansehen, so fühlen wir dasselbe, wie wir es bei E(mi-Ma) und E(dith) erlebt haben, dass durch die heilende Hand Gottes etwas Wunderbares geschehen ist. So müssen wir die aufgehobene Hand Gottes sehen, wie sie uns naht, um uns in unserer gefährlichen St(reit?) (Zeit?) beizustehen, um zu

schützen und um uns die Möglichkeit zu geben, zu leben und zusammen zu leben, zusammen dem Zeugnis zu leben, dem Auftrag zu leben, der uns anvertraut ist. Auch für unser gemeinsames Leben bedürfen wir eines neuen Eingreifens Gottes, besonders für unsere wirtschaftliche Möglichkeit zu leben, aber nicht wie für ein besonderes Gebiet, sondern für unsere wirtschaftliche Möglichkeit im Sinne der Geistesmöglichkeit, dass uns aufs neue gewaltige Kraft zukommt für alles, was uns aufgetragen ist. Und weil es keinen Sinn hat, die einzelnen Punkte hervorzuheben, weil wir sie alle kennen, wollen wir uns zur Anrufung Gottes wieder um die Sendschreiben der Offenbarung Johannes sammeln.
