Eberhard & Emmy’s return from the Alm Bruderhof
Eberhard: I am to convey to the Rhön Bruderhof that the brotherhood at the Alm stands with the brotherhood at the Rhön in all things. Two or three families are ready to come to the Rhön to strengthen the Rhön Bruderhof inwardly if that is necessary. We have to test thoroughly whether that is best because of the week position of the young brotherhood here. Otherwise too, the Alm Brotherhood stands inwardly by the brotherhood here in every way. They feel part of the needs here and want to do anything they can to help. We all need continually to be educated by the spirit of Jesus Christ. It impressed me deeply that many of those at the Alm were in a similar position years ago and when they were new they would not have been able to hold the Rhön Bruderhof together. And that gives me great confidence for the young brotherhood here: to be sure it needs a few years to attain a certain sense of responsibility but over the course of time a shock troops will have developed who can grasp and carry the responsibility of the brotherhood in a wide oversight and encompassing insight.

Rückkehr von Eberhard und Emmi vom Almbruderhof
Eberhard: Ich soll der Rhönbruderschaft übermitteln, daß die Almbruderschaft der Rhönbruderschaft in jeder Weise beistehen möchte, besonders dadurch, daß zwei oder drei Familien bereit sind, auf den Rhönbruderhof zu kommen, um die innere Kraft des Rhönbruderhofes zu stärken, wenn es nötig sein sollte. Es muß sehr eingehend geprüft werden, ob das, wegen der schwachen Lage der jungen Bruderschaft hier, notwendig sein wird. Auch sonst ist die Almbruderschaft in jeder Hinsicht innerlichst ganz mit den Nöten der hiesigen Rhönbruderschaft verwachsen und fühlt eine innerste Zugehörigkeit zu den Nöten der Bruderschaft und möchte alles tun, um zu helfen. Denn wir alle brauchen eine fortdauernde Gemeinschaftserziehung im Geiste Jesu Christi. Mir hat das einen so tiefen Eindruck gemacht, daß viele von denen auf dem Almbruderhof vor Jahren in einer ähnlichen Lage gewesen sind und als damalige Neulinge auch nicht imstande gewesen wären, den Rhönbruderhof zu halten. Und das macht mir eine große Zuversicht für die junge Bruderschaft hier, daß es wohl einiger Jahre bedarf bis zu einer gewissen gleichmäßigen Verantwortung, daß aber im Verlauf dieser Zeit ganz gewiss eine Kerntruppe heranwachsen wird, die im weiten Überblick und umfassenden Tiefblick die Gesamtverantwortung der Bruderschaft fassen und tragen kann.
