The peace of God, as the future of the kingdom of God, must penetrate and hold complete sway over world conditions. He who believes in the all-commanding might of God is filled with courage and certainty for the victory of His peace. Faith in the peace of God is the courage of the heart that is confident of victory.

- Eberhard Arnold When the Time Was FulfilledJesus experienced the utmost humiliation. From the feed-trough and the manger at his birth to his death on the cross. May we return again to the only thing that counts: to the way of Jesus Christ who was humiliated, tried, and crucified with criminals for our sake. We want to ask God to let us become like Jesus and, like him, to revere the childlike spirit of love and humility.

Where community is given through faith, this community sets to work at a living activity which is God’s doing. In faith, God’s power is revealed through human helplessness, God’s greatness through human smallness.
