God stands above every event. Faith can withstand the storm of all forces only if we are one with God. It is not men who stand firm. God alone is invincible. In Him alone is the freedom of soul that guards against bondage to even the strongest force.

We expect him and thus long with a humble spirit that his rulership is recognized in every country. and when this happens, he will turn bloody weapons into tools for work, and we shall become true brothers and sisters. The Messiah King of peace and justice, the world ruler of love and joy will reign! This was the expectation of old, and this is what we think of when we approach the season of Jesus’ birth.

If God’s Kingdom is to transform this vale of tears into a place of joy, it has to be a realm of work. Work, and work alone, befits the destiny of the human spirit.
