The Holy Spirit produces a judgment upon everything that resists him, for the light he brings is a fire that he kindles. For this reason he is a Spirit of reverence. As the Spirit of truth he brings into the light everything that tries to hide. He leads into the reality of ultimate truth by testifying to Christ and, as the Spirit of mercy and of prayer, by bestowing and granting whatever the believing person needs.

- Eberhard ArnoldIn answer to our faith, and to the measure of our faith, everything will be done just as we ask. There is no wall, no mountain, no barrier too high for the prayer of faith. God is above everything. His Spirit is stronger than all other spirits. When a man’s faith, life, and deeds are in Jesus, who is the Word, all his prayers are answered. If everything we do has only one goal, that his kingdom comes, that his will becomes fact on earth, then the things we pray for will happen. Much more will happen than we could dare to put into words. God’s answer will surpass our boldest prayer. And so that we know it is God who does it all, it will happen even while we are praying or before we have spoken our prayer. Anyone who knocks at God’s door and seeks nothing but God alone, will receive what he asks for in the twinkling of an eye.

Whoever receives the Holy Spirit receives his power. Whoever tastes his joy and the peace of his unity lives in full expectation of God’s future, because the power of the Holy Spirit is in him. Through this Spirit the church grows strong in the person who loves, because it receives the riches of God’s majesty as the radiance from his ruling throne.
- Eberhard Arnold
Let us ask God that he may kindle the holy light in our hearts anew through the descending flame of his Holy Spirit. Let us ask him to fit us into his great future, into his kingdom. We ask for the powers of God’s great future to come to us so that we are can live accordingly and spread this message to all people. Then, in the midst of the old nature but having no part in its sinfulness and degradation, our whole life, day and night, will be a witness to the new creation.
