The garden must be won back for God. God himself will conquer and rule it. But men must be ready to accept this rule of God. The kingdom of God has the same earthly sound, the same earth-color, as the vanished paradise. Sin, the destroyer, which has kept us from rejoicing fully in the earth, must be overcome. Not man, renewed by God, but the enemy of God must leave the earth.

So be aware of the things that thwart this love: property and worry! Wherever possessions are heaped up while elsewhere people go hungry and cold, there is no love. So gather no wealth for yourself. Do not worry. Worriers build life on wealth just as much as the wealthy. Look at the birds and flowers, and believe in the loving God, the Father who provides everything.
